| Experience | Hi! my name is James and I am currently a practising Sports Scienctist, Strength & Conditioning coach and Personal Trainer. My sessions are extremely well planned and take into account both your needs and objectives, whilst offering a huge variety in your training and making your training enjoyable. Not only will I motivate and support you during our training sessions I will provide back up support throughout for you during the rest of the week, helping you with your nutrition as well as planning your other exercise sessions. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Professional references | I have been training with James for the last 18 months, I was looking for some extra support to help me in my marathon training and general fitness. Having worked with a couple of personal trainers in the past I expected to go through some fairly gruelling work outs but I was not expecting the level of preparation and research that James would go into. He mentioned he would plan and write a "tailor made" program for me based on the results from an assessment and I expected the usual weights and abs work but instead I was confronted with a completely new type of fitness training regime. James listened to my needs and objectives and looked closely at my capabilities and condition and devised a number of effective and interesting programs to help me achieve my goals, for example to achieve some of the strength objectives we set I needed to dramatically improve my core strength (something I had previously not been made aware of). Within a very short space of time my core is strong and I am achieving certain things I didn't think I was capable of. James is not a magician, his programs are hard work and you need to be motivated to achieve your objectives. What James does do is make training enjoyable and interesting. His education in sports fitness and his overall interest in the subject enables him to consistently to design new, challenging programs and his work, on your behalf, is not limited to the hour sessions in the gym, on the track or on the road, he is also thinking about you and preparing those programs for you in his own time |
